How to receive flood messages
One of the most important responsibilities of Conservation Authorities is to protect people and property from flooding. Information gathered from our system of streamflow gauges, snow courses and weather stations allows us to prepare water level and flow forecasts which are used to warn watershed residents of potential flooding.
When water conditions are unsafe or there is a potential for flooding, the MRCA issues flood advisories through the local media, social media and our website. You can sign up to receive emailed flood messages directly by providing your email below.
You can also follow our Facebook page to receive flood messages.
