You may require a permit from the Conservation Authority.

2021
The Mattagami Region Conservation Authority has posted the first Watershed Update for 2021. Watershed statistics reports include data retrieved from snow course readings and dam operations. See our Upper Mattagami Watershed Statistics page for current information.

The MRCA office is now re-opened to the public. As per the Ontario government’s COVID-19 Response Framework, anyone coming to our office is required to complete pre-screening, maintain a physical distance of 2 metres and wear a mask. We recommend calling ahead to make an appointment if you intend to meet with any of our staff. Please see our COVID-19 updates page for details.
